About 11:30 pm one night Steve Mathias and I drove up to Canyon High and planted two palms in the Senior Patio. One tree died a year or two later. The other is still growing here 50 years later. The tree's name is Arthur, which is a name from some Mad Magazine cartoon Steve had read about that time.
